Hi, I'm Allie.

I grew up in Northern California, in one of those suburbs where every house is a variation on the same color, with the same few layouts, all sidewalks and landscaped tiny front yards. Perhaps it was this cookie cutter upbringing that first sparked my interest in more diverse design, but for whatever reason, I have always loved creating. I’ve been drawn to design my whole life, all forms of it: interiors, photography, fashion, writing. I live in Seattle with my husband and two children. My first career was in pediatric speech-language therapy and I truly loved it. I took a career pause during the pandemic and have been been a full-time mom for a few years. I have blogged here since 2012, and have worn many hats since then as my life has evolved into various seasons, shifting and re-prioritizing my roles with each one. I’ve done hand lettering, accidental influencing before it became influencing, interior design, photography, and mostly, raising my two kids. It’s a privilege to share my life with you.
